TrackMaster® has been in business since 1971 with a goal to provide the industry’s most innovative and highest quality picture frame hanging products available at competitive prices.

 

The company produces an integrated line of patented and trademarked picture frame hangers and frame security systems which have been designed to securely mount virtually any picture frame on any type of flat wall surface using standard, commercially available, fastening hardware.

 

TrackMaster® frame hangers are unique, designed, solutions for overcoming the problems associated with “hook and wire” mounting systems. This has been accomplished by replacing unstable hooks and wires with stable, self-leveling, two-point support-track systems firmly attached to the wall. The hangers and security systems are available in several sizes for booth wooden and metal frames.

 

TrackMaster® also produces a newly patented hanger for smaller wooden frames designed to be used by ‘’do-it-yourself” advocates. This hanger features a “pivot” design employing a rotating mandrel and fasteners for keeping the picture level and for bottom-rail support.

 

TrackMaster® hangers have numerous advantages when compared with other picture hanging solutions. Made of super-strong polycarbonate resins with shear strengths of 6,000 lbs, they are virtually unbreakable. The large, flat back surface of the hanger provides sufficient wall-support for much more than its rated 50 lbs. The largest hanger has more than ten square inches of surface in contact with the wall-theoretically enough to support several hundred pounds making it especially useful for hanging very heavy frames and plate glass mirrors.

 

TrackMaster’s unique fastening configuration produces a load vector directed into the wall, rather than down the wall, as is the case with a “wire” hanging on a hook. Physically, this means: “the heavier the load on the on the hanger, the tighter its large back surface will hug the wall.” Installed with optional screws and wall-anchors its load supporting capacity is even greater.

 

In independent laboratory testing a single, nailed, 5-inch hanger supported more than 100 pounds in 5/8” thick gypsum drywall!  The same hanger, fastened with screws and wall-anchors, supported the weight of 200 pounds.

 

The company has also developed its own patented bottom-rail supports and Impact-Latch frame-security systems all of which are designed to take advantage of the hanger system’s inherent design geometry. TrackMaster components, used in combination, are designed to keep the user’s fine art on the wall!  Period!

 

TrackMaster® systems are universal in application. They can be attached to any flat wall surface, take only a minute or two to install, and require only those tools normally found in the home.

 

TrackMaster® systems are also inexpensive considering their designed utility and the protection they provide. Fine art cannot really be insured in the usual sense of the word. Once fine art is damaged or destroyed it can seldom be restored or replaced. The dollar or two spent on a TrackMaster® hanging system is really insignificant considering the hundreds of dollars that would be spent to repair the art or artifact it saves.
